Growing up in a military family gave Mark a strong ability to land on his feet and adapt quickly to new environs. Born in Chicago, spent his formative years growing up in the Boston area before being uprooted and transplanted in New Orleans. He studied acting and filmmaking at the University of New Orleans where he discovered a natural ease in picking up local dialects and developing strong bonds with surrounding communities. Working in various jobs as a short order cook, forklift operator, sanitation worker, and a good stint in the local oil, fishing, and shrimping industry instilled in Mark a blue-collar sensibility that is the strength of many of the roles he was soon to be offered upon moving to Los Angeles. Not long after his move from LA to L.A., Mark embarked on a 25 yr. career in law enforcement working exclusively in the jail. All the while he fought to continue his pursuit of acting and has appeared in numerous network and cable episodics, short films, and an increasing body of feature film work.
Mark thrives on the camaraderie that being on stage or a film shoot engenders. His passion for film and its entire creative process is equaled by his love for serving others in disaster relief, set photography, and rivaled only by his love for family and his beautiful wife of 28 years.- Director
